SWASTH (Smart Workflow for AI-Assisted Screening and Treatment in Healthcare) is a cutting-edge IIT Delhi initiative dedicated to advancing AI applications in healthcare. Our primary focus is on enabling early detection and classification of critical conditions like breast cancer and gall bladder cancer, empowering clinicians with efficient, reliable, and scalable diagnostic tools.
At the heart of the SWASTH-Edge system is its deployment on an NVIDIA Jetson AGX edge device, ensuring portability, energy efficiency, and robust performance in real-world healthcare settings.
1. Seamless Integration with Hospital Infrastructure:
SWASTH connects directly to a hospital's LAN and can seamlessly
integrate with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). It
also supports direct data reception from mammography and ultrasound
machines, ensuring uninterrupted workflow integration.
2. Real-Time AI-Powered Diagnostics: The system
automatically processes new DICOM files as they are received, running
advanced AI models to analyze medical imaging data efficiently and
accurately.
3. Enhanced User Interaction: Clinicians can interact
directly with the system to mark their own detections, input patient
indications, and document findings. This feature enhances diagnostic
precision and supports comprehensive patient records.
4. Unified User Interface: A single, intuitive
interface facilitates seamless operations across multiple modalities,
including mammograms and ultrasounds. This versatility simplifies
adoption and training, making the system user-friendly for medical
professionals.
5. Portable and Energy-Efficient Design: The edge
device's compact design and low power requirements make it easily
transportable across healthcare facilities. This portability ensures
that advanced diagnostic capabilities are accessible even in
resource-limited settings.
